In Sarasota, community clinics and dental schools usually take new patients by phone screening or a waitlist, and appointments take longer than at a private office because students and residents work under supervision. Bring proof of income for sliding-scale programs, a photo ID and any insurance card, and ask about transportation help, which many health centers offer.

Sarasota is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sarasota follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My therapist Ryan has helped me through the most difficult times in my life. I had a breakthrough session today and had to give a big SHOUT OUT to Ryan Francis. Thank you for your ability to walk me down into the loss of my son, helping me start to learn to accept my disabilities and find better behavior skills. I know we have a road ahead of us but I absolutely trust you and I am very comfortable with your style of therapy. I have never left feeling lost or without really good ideas to put into practice and go through how it went when we have our next session. God bless you Ryan and thank you so very much!!! 5 stars and highly recommend!

Seems a little disorganized. I had referral to specialist and it’s months away asked for certain prescriptions and such to get by until than wasn’t really answered. I already left the last doctor because they sucked so that’s how I really feel”.

I am incredibly fortunate to have Yenny Rojas Soto at CenterPlace Health as my provider, as her exceptional bedside manner and attentive listening ensure that every symptom is thoroughly heard and understood. She takes the time to help me navigate the complexities of my health with the patience of an angel, and her bilingual fluency is a massive relief, allowing me to switch between English and Spanish whenever I need to express myself more clearly. The facility is consistently clean, the staff is remarkably punctual, plus the convenience of in-house lab work makes managing my care much simpler. Most importantly, both Yenny and her team are highly accommodating and professional regarding my disability, providing the clear communication and physical support necessary to ensure my needs are fully documented and respected.

A last resort for those on ACA. Go elsewhere if you can. I never have been able to see my assigned primary, Dr. Bearson. The nurse practitioner I've had to see appears not know how to properly prescribe some common medications (messing up both my insulin prescriptions and starting me on a high dose of blood pressure meds even though my BP is only slightly elevated). He also wants to treat symptoms instead of find causes. When I sent a message asking to be seen by ANYONE else, I got no response. Luckily I will be employed again soon and will have other options. Only positives are they have a lab on site, and are sliding scale.
